Becky Theis sure has it made. She's married to one of the best Salmon River NY Drift Boat Guides in Pulaski NY. She and her husband, "Guide Mike" as we call him, love to steelhead fish the Salmon River. Becky is a great sport and absolutely loves to go fishing with her husband when ever she can. She got the day off from work and took the long ride to Pulaski NY from her home town of

Remington, VA. She and Guide Mike floated the Salmon River from Altmar NY all the way to the County Route 2 A Bridge in Pulaski and only hooked into one steelhead. The weather was snowy and cold and just as Guide Mike went to net Becky's 15 lb. female steelhead, out came the hook! C-ya! Bye-bye Mrs. Fat and Full-of-Eggs Steelhead!!! The next day, Sunday, Becky made sure that her 12 lb. female steelhead was hooked better and wasn't going to get away. Guide Mike netted his wife's steelhead with grace and ease. It was a nice way to celebrate Easter and they both got to take in the breathtaking views of the Salmon River's snow covered banks. Any day's a good day on the Salmon River NY while floating from a drift boat and when you're husband's the guide, it's even better!
