  "Thank You" from the bottom of my heart for all of you who have been so understanding and wonderful in so many ways. You know I'm stressed and you know I'm 21 days without nicotene and you're all such wonderful customers. I posted the other day how I love Grand Marnier, this french liqueur and this person who I do not know and who says he follows my website daily reading all
my stories and reports, brings me a bottle today. Now, that is something. I couldn't believe that a total stranger would do such a thing and my head was so flustered that even though I asked your name twice, I forgot it again. So if you're reading this, please call me or email me your name. Thank you so very much and you better believe...as soon as I finish the first bottle, yours will be next. I will definitely need some drinks to get through this weekend, Columbus Day weekend, "THE Busiest Weekend" in Pulaski, NY's history. I've gotta admit, for the amount of hate emails saying we're liars when it comes to fishing reports, the people who do believe remind me that it's all worth my time and effort because you are the ones that are keeping us going. You are the supporters, not the takers and I thank you for that. So, "CHEERS" with a shot of Grand Marnier and to the best world class salmon & steelhead fishery there is on the entire Northeast coast!!!! FYI, for those of you who really don't know me, I'm not a lush. I am merely a woman running a big business during a crazy busy time called "Salmon Season" and in the midst of it I quit smoking on September 13, 2007 and the Grand Marnier is helping me take the edge off so keep 'em coming folks.......I sure do appreciate it!
NOW for the report: It was an awesome day (again) for my husband's clients: Jim Birofka & Jeff Sheats from NJ...they have been with John the same dates every year since 1991 with no regrets. High water, low water, clear water, muddy water. They landed King Salmon, Coho Salmon, and Steelhead Trout today while fly fishing. All the flies they were using were lodged either on the side of the fish's mouth or down deep. They fish were agressive and hit their flies hard. Our other "TOP-FULL-TIME" Salmon River NY Guide, John, had a single client, Jerry Nigro from Saratoga, NY and he called in sick to come up and take a guided fly fishing trip with us. Looks like he had a great day to from all the pictures in my photo gallery. You'll have to scroll through the pages folks. Still 100% success rate and ALL happy clients with our guides this season....we're pretty proud. The night time bite continues and will continue for a while longer...how long? Not sure about that. Still waiting for the "Motherload" to come into the Salmon River but to be honest, it may or may not happen? Everyday more fish continue to come in but not all at once....hence the term the "Motherload".....so, we'll just have to wait and see. We're full here at our lodge and some of the newbies or "Salmon River Virgins" are having trouble. This can happen and that's why it's best to hire a guide service to show you how to do it and give you the confidence you need.
