 | Small Hooks Catch Big Fish |
I thought this was a good one for you folks that think our size 10 hooks are too small for King Salmon. Everything in our shop is made for catching salmon and trout, it's what gives you the confidence in catching them that matters. The only thing is that we hope that you'll be open minded and try something different once in a while. We use small hooks and flies in our guide service most of the time. While there are some days we do use bigger fly patterns, we tend to
use light tackle and small hooks. This hook is a size 10 and we have them in Mustad. Gamakatsu, and Eagle Claw to name a few. When people come in our shop looking for hooks we always ask what pound test line they are using. We want to get to know you and what you will be fishing with so we can give you the right product. You wouldn't use a size 10 hook with 20 pound test line so it's important to let us know what you're using. This is what we're here for. We have several different types of hooks in all different sizes and colors. Help us to help you and feel free to bring your equipment in with you so you can show us what you're using.
