 | I Remember Daddy, You Took Me Fishing |
This is the photo of the day and if I say so, the photo of the season. While I don't have all the specifics such as last names or where they are from, I do know that this is Matthew, age 8, and his father, Anthony. They are fishing with one of our Salmon River guides for two days and as you can see, they are making memories. Today was a banner steelhead trout day on the Salmon River in Pulaski, NY and both father and son hit it just right. Even though the river level is low, it's
absolutely perfect for Matthew. He can wade safely and actually see the fish he's fishing for. A wonderful experience for a father and son to go fishing and to make such wonderful memories. Hiring a full time guide who knows every inch of the Salmon River and where the fish will be day to day is the best way to go. Teaching your child how to fish the right way and how to respect the river and other anglers is something that will be instilled in him forever and make him a better person. Thank you for the picture, a.k.a. "The Mayor"......my nickname for this awesome Salmon River guide. I absolutely love it! Way to go Matthew and Anthony. May you have many more fishing trips on the Salmon River and take home many memories too.
