It's a great time of the year to get hooked up on some chrome steelhead. "It's my favorite time to fish steelhead until the first two or three cold snaps", says "The Mayor".....who by the way, is open for Oct. 31! His November dates are listed above. Coho Salmon.........and YES, there are salmon STILL coming into the Salmon River NY on a daily basis folks. The fishing continues to be EXCELLENT despite low water levels and beginning this Tuesday evening at 7:00 pm, the water level will increase to 335 cfs. which is a floatable level for drift boats. So, anyone interested in taking a drift boat trip down the Salmon River, please call us. We have several guides available. The water level will remain this level until October 30th. On another note, our Guide Mike had a great day with his clients that are staying at our lodge. Joe Dabulus and his son, "Chicken" (age 11). They were fly fishing and caught a variety of fish.
