 | Fishing Report: Salmon River New York 11-18-07 |
A pretty good weekend overall with nice weather and tons of steelhead in the Salmon River NY. I have so many pictures to upload and to let everyone know who is following our website, we are having some family issues going on right now and we thank you for your patience and understanding. We have a lot on our plate and work and family chores are piling up so
trust me when I say that the fishing is excellent and I have tons of pictures. I will post them in my photo gallery this week so please stay tuned. Thanksgiving weekend is approaching fast and I still have openings. It's a prime weekend and the Friday after Thanksgiving is open right now for 2 of our Top Drift Boat Guides. Hidden Acres Lodge 315-298-3474 has openings as well as the Lure Inn 315-298-5873. There are a ton of steelhead in the upper section of the river however they're getting the most pressure. There are steelhead and brown trout all over the Salmon River NY from bottom to top. All the uneducated ones are in the lower section of the river and that's where I'd be if I wanted fresh chrome. There's some dandies in the mid section of the Salmon River and if you don't mind doing a little walking, you'll be rewarded sweetly. Please either call me or stop by the shop to find out more detailed reports based on your skill level as an angler. Thanks for supporting our family. P.S. We have centerpin reel and rod specials going on now....as well as other things marked to sell fast as we will be heading south again this winter for the Florida Keys! Only 3 more weeks left for us.
