  Not a bad day on the Salmon River in Pulaski NY today for shop customer, Rich Greeby from Hainesport, N.J. who went fishing with one of our top Salmon River NY Drift Boat Guides, "The Mayor". Richard went 1 for 3 while "The Mayor" went 3 for 6. Both were centerpin float fishing with egg sacs. @$#% was the hot color for today and even though they started late and reached the river's edge by
9:30 am, only three drifts later Rich was yelling, "FISH ON!!!" You can see by the picture that he has his "Steelface" on. With a little effort and willingness to walk in and hit a few spots, they had a successful day despite the high winds. Please stop by our shop and find out what egg sac colors are working best. While we believe you should have all four colors on your possession at all times while on the river, we know which ones worked best for the conditions. Another shop customer came in today and bought some XYZ floats and said he went 8 for 14 today. He said the biggest steelhead he landed was eight pounds. He also said that most of them were chrome and fresh while the rest were darkened up. He did tell me where he was fishing and his information is reliable. Please understand that we are limited with the amount of information that we post on the world wide web. We are guide owned and guide operated not to mention a fly & tackle shop. We will gladly give you the low down if you are shopping with us, guiding with us, or lodging with us and we always give reports based on your skill level as an angler. Please check the water line and the weather report before coming to Pulaski NY. We understand that we may get some snow this weekend and that the weather will turn cold. Hand and foot warmers are a must and for a small amount of money, they're totally worth it!
