  Happy New Year to everyone. I'm down here in the Florida Keys and it's beautiful. I will be updating our site soon with some nice bonefish pictures. I am pretty much settled in my new place and every day I see "Eddie" the egret standing in my front yard...it's nice. I hope to get my webcam set up so you can see him. Florida's history with the daytime highs in the 50's. Hey, it's sunny and it's fine by me because I"m not shoveling snow! I plan on going to the annual buyers show in Buffalo, NY to buy inventory for our fly & tackle shop so we can bring you, the customer, huge savings. We had a great 2007 and we're pumped for 2008. There have been some changes in our life and they are for the good and for those of you who know me personally, you know that I'm happy. You know the saying, "If mamma bear aint happy, aint no one gonna be happy".....right? I hear the Salmon River is running at 1390 cfs at Pineville today.....that tells me new chrome! I keep hearing reports of many steelhead in the river........where are the pictures to prove it? I still have 5 Women In Waders calendars to give away to the best steelhead and brown trout pictures. I would prefer that they be taken on the Salmon River or it's tributaries.......not "out west" folks. Keep me posted and I'll keep you posted shortly. I have some business to tend to. As for the "Mayor", he is booking day and night time mouth of the Salmon River NY drift boat trips for this upcoming 2008 Salmon Season. Give him a shout at (305) 664-9988.
