 | Our Little Fishing Girl Turns Three |
It's that time of year again and our precious little fishing girl will turn three years old. Wow. Time really does go by fast. Her third birthday falls on tax day which is April 15, 2008 and we'll see what she wants to do for her birthday. I'm sure she'll probably say, "Mommy & Daddy...I want to go swimming at the Islander!" It's her favorite place to go and have fun swimming, jumping, and splashing in their two pools and also a hot tub. Isla plays with other children while we get
some sun close by and talk "fishing" (what else?) with the parents. It really is a nice resort and we like to have lunch there and walk out on their beautiful beach and take a stroll down their dock. Our daughter is our piece of the Florida Keys and that is one of the reasons we named her Isla Morada. We always want to be reminded of the oceans beauty, smell, and offerings. She is our little piece of paradise and our island home. Happy Birthday honey!
A little diddy by Mommy: Miss. Isla Morada I think you've gotta BE THE MOST BEAUTIFUL GIRL ON THE ISLAND Miss. Isla Morada I know you've gotta BE THE MOST BEAUTIFUL GIRL ON THE ISLAND
The picture above is John showing Isla how to tickle a puffer fish's belly so he blows up. They're pretty funny fish with their big horse teeth. Isla is a little over one here and she has always loved going for a boat ride. She started at one month old when she went tarpon fishing all day with us. She was meant to be a boating/fishing girl. The longest day was 12 hours on the water tarpon fishing..man what a great day that was!
