  Owner of Salmon River Sports Shop which is located across the street from our fly & tackle shop with his daughter, Zana, and her 31 pound King Salmon she caught behind their shop two summers ago. It was the biggest King Salmon she caught and Brant had it mounted for her. The day was August 18, 2006 and it just goes to show you that you too could
catch a salmon like this during the summer months of August. While there are not thousands of King Salmon around this time of year, there are always some around. You just have to be there....fishing....and trying. Quit reading the reports and get up here and fish! What did people do before there were internet reports? If you are the type of person that needs to stand on a rock and cast to hundreds of fish at a time, this is not the time to come to Pulaski NY. When is that time? Colombus Day weekend when all the crazies are out and shoulder to shoulder fishing along the banks of the Salmon River in Pulaski, NY. If you want insanity, come then. The exact dates this year are: Oct. 10,11,12,&13. If I'm offending any of you "Crazies", get over it. You really are crazy to fish this weekend and you know it!
