The Salmon Fishing on Lake Ontario New York continues to get better and more Charter Captains are catching King Salmon each day. The only problem is, the people are not here and the salmon are! Sometimes it goes that way and it's my job to report that the salmon are coming in closer and closer and my prediction is that it
will be an early Fall Salmon Run. One can never be too sure however with the Lake temperatures being in the 60's plus our cool wet summer, that = salmon. My advice, book now for your lake charters and make reservations for Labor Day weekend for salmon fishing in the Salmon River. Saturday July 25 a 33 pound 5 oz King Salmon was caught during the tournament held by Mike's Marina in Little Texas and Jon's Salmon Tackle Shop. It was a whopper! All reports say that the King Salmon are good size and healthy. They are coming folks! Stay tuned.....
