You'll need a BIG net and WE have them!

Fly,Spin,Spey,CenterpinChinook The saying goes, "We measure our fish in pounds, not inches" and "Size Matters"!  If you're coming to Pulaski New York to fish for Chinook "King" Salmon, you better have a big ass net!  A cheap salmon net goes for about $12 while a good salmon net goes for about $25 and a great salmon net goes for about $60!  It's whatever your budget allows but I will tell you this:

Sometimes when you buy cheap, you only end up buying it twice.  Go with the $25 net and you'll be fine.  I have a bunch of them in my shop and I can accomodate all budgets.......even the ones that want to go the cheap way....it's okay too.  Another rule of thumb:  Buy BLACK and not silver.  Why?  Trust me, that's why.  Will a silver net still land a salmon?  Yes, but only with an experienced netter that is!  One has to have plenty of salmon netting experience to be able to correctly net a 20-35 pound fish.  I have seen my share of screw ups and kaboshes and it's a riot to watch as well as a hard learning experience for both the netter and the angler! Try our guide service....we'll teach ya how to net a salmon!
