  Local Kids are always first on the scene when it comes to salmon fishing the Salmon River in downtown Pulaski, NY. It's their way of showing off to each other how man they can catch and all without falling off the famous Town Pool Wall. These local ledge lizzards always catch salmon and it's fun to watch them. Most of these kids live within walking distance to the famous
"Town Pool" hole where thousands of salmon pass through on their way to the Salmon River NY Fish Hatchery to spawn and die. Reggie Fiumano, son of Captain Mike Fiumano is the best ledge lizzard there is. He can battle a salmon, run down the wall, around the big tree, and down on the pointed rock with such ease and without skipping a beat.......you go Reggie! A great fisherman, just like his dad. FishON!
For some kids, like Zach here, it's hard to drag 60 plus pounds of salmon to the fish cleaning stations so they come up with ingenious ideas on how to get their salmon to the cleaning stations...........they use their mom's minivans! Ha, way to go. Now they'll be tenderized!
Salmon Fishing in Pulaski NY is a right of passage. It's SO MUCH FUN, you HAVE to bring your kid her to salmon fish!!!
