Skip from Boston with a Salmon River NY Steelhead trout he caught after blowing three beforehand. He was determined to make the best of his December trip even though Mother Nature was a bitch. She threw 35 mph sustained winds with 45 mph moderate gusts along with snow. The temperatures were in the 20's. She was pissed for sure but
Skip's had his share of bitches before and this one wasn't going to ruin his good time with is buddies, John, Jon, & Jeff. He stuck it out and paid close attention to his Salmon River NY Guide, Tony G. His smile says it all and it's his biggest NY Steelhead ever. He'll be back......afterall, the hard parts over! If you can survive a trip like this and catch fish, hell, "you're in!"
End Note: Guide Tony Gulisano called the trip but everyone agreed there was no cancelling on their part. They all wanted to come and they knew the weather conditions were not favorable.
