My Salmon River NY Drift Boat Guide had me on the water by 9AM Christmas Eve, and we had a fish in the boat before 10AM. We fished all day, enjoyed the down times that are with any fishing day with some great conversation, and we hauled in a lot of nice fish. And yeah, I missed a few, too!
My first New York Steelhead experience, what a great fish to catch!!! They run, they jump, they get to the boat, they run, and finally, you net ‘em. I think that my newest Christmas tradition will be a trip out on Christmas Eve.
Dawn, the Santa hats were a great touch.
