     What To Do In

Tony G. & Steven Seagal, King Salmon Fishing

Salmon River NY ReportsTony G. & Steven SeagalThe story behind this picture is about a Salmon River NY Drift Boat Guide who had the pleasure of meeting and guiding Steven Seagal's wife, father-in-law, and translator in Alaska for King Salmon.  There were two drift boats.  The first drift boat had Steven Seagal and his two sister-in-laws. The second drift

Steven Seagal's Lovely Wife & Their Translatorboat was Tony G.  It was a beautiful sunny day the end of June and Tony G.'s boat was hitting and dropping salmon.  The father-in-law had to let his go because it was a wild Alaskan King salmon and on certain days they can't be kept.  This was one of those days.  In between the wife's catch, three others were battled and lost. What really got Steven's goat was when his own father-in-law taunted him with loud squeeling hoots and hollars when the rods were bent down while only four drift boat lengths behind Steven.  After taking a nice picture of his wife and the translator, that was it! Steven Seagal called the trip and made both drift boat guides row out during a high incoming tide with more King Salmon to catch....well at least for Tony G.'s boat.  Poor Steven Seagal was pissed. In ending he made up for it by helping Tony G. pull his drift boat up the slippery muddy banks of the Kasilof River.  Tony G. commented on how strong Steven Seagal was and how he towered over him.  Steven was kind enough to allow Tony G. to have his picture taken with him despite being in a rush to leave.  It's a trip that won't be forgotten.  END NOTE:  Being star struck doesn't deter from Tony G. from doing a great job at guiding.  He knows what he's doing and he's great at it.

If you'd like to book a guided fishing trip with Tony G. on the Salmon River in Pulaski, New York, he is available full time: winter, spring, summer, and fall for all your fly fishing, drift boat fishing, centerpin float fishing, spey fishing, spin fishing, etc, etc, etc, needs.
