 | Salmon River NY Steelhead Report: 4-29-10 |
  The Salmon River in Pulaski New York is at the tail end of it's Spring Drop Back Steelhead Season and the report is that it's still happening and we're still catching some really nice steelhead trout. This is a male drop back steelhead and it's "average" size to us. We have been catching some
really nice sizeable steelhead this spring season both on the fly and also on live bait, artificial bait, and even some artificial lures. These steelhead are hungry and active. They're heading back to Lake Ontario to live for the rest of the spring and summer and will return to the Salmon River again in the fall.
