All guests who fish the property must
have felt or cleated soles on their waders or wading shoes. Guests are not allowed to fish with sandals, sneakers, or rubber lug soles. No waders in apartments, No fish or fish coolers in apartments. Keep the river outside the rooms.
All NYS DEC rules and regulations apply and there will be absolutely NO SNAGGING or keeping of FOUL HOOKED fish on the property. NO FISHING THE WALL The Village of Pulaski has sectioned off the entire wall across the river from us due to safety/liability issues. The DEC will assist in enforcing anglers who try to fish on the wall or below the wall on the ledge, river level. Apparently there is a section of the wall that has cracked and moved forward and will eventually fall. Pictures are posted on my FACEBOOK page, just click my link.
A brand new gas station and convenient store (Byrne Dairy) was built in June directly off the Pulaski NY Exit 36 where the long time C&M diner use to be. Simply turn right off the exit and fill up with gas, snacks, pizza, beer, etc. Fishing equipment, bait, etc. can be purchased next door at All Season's Sports, Whitaker's Orvis Shop, across the street at Fat Nancy's, on US Route 11 (Salina Street) at my place, Yankee Fly & Tackle, next door to me at Salmon River Sports Shop, or at Port Ontario at Junior's RV Outdoors Sports, Woody's, and Port Ontario Tackle. There's 3 shops off the exit, 2 more down the road less than a mile, and 3 more 3 miles out-of-town. Pineville Sports, Malinda's Fly Shop in Altmar, and Salmon River Outfitters in Altmar which is 8 miles from Pulaski NY on State Route 13 heading towards the Salmon River NY Fish Hatchery.
Margarita's Mexican Restaurant & Bar has opened where the former, "Storyteller's" restaurant use to be on US Route 11 (aka Main Street Pulaski). It's just a short walk up and over the bridge from Yankee Fly.

Goes till the end of Sept. The Salmon River Festival is September 18th, Saturday and is a great time to bring your family! You should go and experience the fun. It's walking distance from Yankee Fly.
