Hi Dawn
Just wanted to drop a line and thank you again for a great trip. I had 3 Salmon River NY Steelhead on my fly rod at the boat ramp before we even got started. Tony G., my guide was a true professional, he had all the bases covered, if I tangled
or broke off my line he had another rod rigged and ready to go, no lost fishing time!!! We floated down the river stopping at different pools and fishing them hard, not just a couple of casts and on to another spot. Tony informed me this was the way to go at this time of year, he was right and his knowledge paid off in "Steel" or "Chrome" if you will..I lost count of how many fish we caught or played with.. This was my first ever Steel head trip and it was better than I hoped, the ice, snow and low temps gave an edge that I enjoyed. Anyone can go wading when its 75 degrees and sunny, but only "The Few the Proud, The Frozen Chosen" would dare brave the elements to match wits with those furious, icy beasts, the mighty Steel head. The entire booking process was a peace of cake, you did all the leg work all I had to do was call and say I wanted to go fishing and everything was taken care of......I will be back before you know it (I'm addicted)... Please list me as a reference, I will tell my buddys at my fly fishing club as well...........Thanks again Matt King...

Matt, thank you for your email and kind words. Tony G. said you were a trooper and a customer that he was grateful to have in his drift boat fishing for winter Salmon River NY Steelhead. It's not for everyone and most people cannot handle it. You hung in there and managed to keep your wits about you and landed some nice steelhead. While winter steelhead fishing in Pulaski NY is not for everyone, it takes a certain type of person and one who can definitely: 1. listen 2. follow instruction and direction 3. go nut deep in 32 degree water temperature without hesitation...........CONGRATULATIONS MATT!!!! You are now officially part of our "CHOSEN FROZEN". We look forward to see you again.
