Capt. Mike Fiumano 315-298-3847 of FishON! Motel and Alex with his client, Chris Early's disputed WORLD record Coho Salmon weighing 34.14 pounds. After doing a stomach lining count the NYS DEC ruled it was a "crossbreed" of a King Salmon (Chinook) and Coho Salmon. The MONSTER was
caught Tuesday Aug. 23,2011 in Oswego County New York. It is now with the taxidermist, Dave Fish 607-936-5363. So, the answer is "NO", not a New World Record Coho Salmon. Damn nice fish though and one that anyone would LOVE to catch. Come on up and fish Lake Ontario New York or the Salmon River in Pulaski New York. Capt.
