It's official, SPRING Steelhead Season is here! We had record breaking temperatures yesterday in the mid 60's! Many anglers took advantage of the nice weather and called in sick! Speaking of the "weather", you just never know what it's going to be like around Pulaski NY since conditions can change within twenty four hours. A local guide said to me, "If you're waitn' on the weather, you'll be waitn' forever." Aint that the truth! So, when you want to make a reservation for a guided
fishing trip on the Salmon River NY you'll want to make sure that you're reserving with a LOCAL guide service that has the experience, not a part time guide service that's from out-of-state who has a full time job and suppliments his income with guiding. The locals know because they live it from day to day with the changing conditions. Our local guide service is available for the rest of March & April for spring trips on/off the Salmon River NY. Call us if you want to mark fishing the Salmon River NY off your "Bucket List"!!!

Thanks for setting up a great drift boat experience with one of your local guides. When my son-in law called you last minute, I didn't know what to expect. The trip was not only fun, it was the best one I ever had because, not only did I catch a fish (something that I usually leave to my fish magnet son-in-law) but I hooked and landed a trophy steel-head which will hang on my wall. I actually had something to post on my Facebook page. I hardly ever do that! You made the whole experience so easy and fun that it will be hard to top it next time. We really did enjoy staying at Yankee Fly and Tackle and getting to know your family. Again thanks to your local NY Drift Boat Guide for his "old school experience" that allowed us to catch fish when it seemed that everyone on the river that we talked to was "getting skunked". Oh, by the way, my "Snagger hoodie" is getting all kinds of comments. Thanks Again...see you soon. David Miller Scranton Area of PA
