How's this for fish?!
Anyone interested in doing a ( May or June) Tarpon trip?  Just give us a shout as it's prime time and the fishing is excellent!  Spin or Fly, you decide and John will guide you to some wonderful memories and possibly some "bragging rights".  There are some very reasonable hotels near us.

Lodging Deal!!!   Just 2 miles south of us there are 3 family owned hotels that are the cheapest in Islamorada!  Room rates are $39/night for 1 or 2 people (without a pool) April - Dec. and $50/night for 1 or 2 people (with a pool).  Both are based on Sun.-Thrs. stay and weekends are only $10 more.  CHEAP!!!  Clean and comfortable and some rooms have kitchenettes.  John and I both checked these places out and recommend them for the savvy traveler!  Hey, we'd stay there! You better reserve early since this is the best lodging deal in the Florida Keys.  They book up fast and you'll want to reserve right away.  If you can't get a reservation, call us and we'll give you other affordable lodging suggestions for the Florida Keys.

Fly fish the Florida Keys or Spin Fish with live bait, you decide.  It's so awesome down here you'll love it!

Freshwater Fishing:
As you can see, Florida has wonderful freshwater fishing opportunities. Florida Large Mouth Bass are plentiful and grow to amazing sizes. Give us a call or shoot us an email and we will be happy to tell you more about John's exciting freshwater fishing opportunities.  Dawn@FishTheSalmonRiver.com
Check out John's 9 pound largemouth bass he caught not far from our park.  What a whopper!

Saltwater Fishing:
If you like Salmon or Steelhead fishing you are going to love Tarpon fishing. Nothing can really compare to the thrill that an angler experiences when he/she hooks into one of the prehistoric monsters. Anglers come to Florida from all parts of the world in search of these prized fish. Now, it's your turn. Give us a call or shoot us an email and we will be happy to tell you more about John & Dawn's exciting saltwater fishing opportunities.  Did you know Islamorada is recognized as the "Sportfishing Capital of the World"?  Dawn@FishTheSalmonRiver.com
Are you strong enough to reel in a tarpon?  I've reeled in plenty and I'll tell ya this, my arm hurts!  They're a great fish to fight and if you get one along side the boat, it counts.  We can guide you to tarpon, bonefish, snook, and barracuda.  The best time to tarpon fish is the month of May because of the weather and the water temperatures.  Ask about our 2 day fly fishing or spin fishing special.

Other Activities:
Maybe you're a fisherman and your family has other things they would like to do in Islamorada. No need to worry there is plenty to do. Boating, diving, swimming with dolphins, beaches, site seeing, nature walks, and just plain old relaxation.  Islamorada has something for everyone.  Dawn & John can make several suggestions!

We are only:  66 miles South of Miami
46 miles South of The Florida Turnpike
15 miles South of Key Largo
                    30 miles North of Marathon
85 miles North of Key West

We love Islamorada so much we even named our daughter (born 4-15-05)
