Gene Varney from Mass. called me up on a Friday for a Saturday trip so I arranged a guided drift boat trip with one of our TOP GUIDES on the Salmon River. Gene was very happy landing 3 steelhead and releasing all of them. He battled a few others and learned some new things from our guide. He said he had been fishing the Salmon River for about 10 years now but had never taken a drift boat trip so he decided he wanted to treat himself.
