Our fishery is all year long and it’s always “Worth It” to come fish the Salmon River NY. A good rule of thumb: Amateur Anglers or Thrill Seekers want lots of fish which = lots of people. All weekends from Labor Day to Columbus Day are the busiest. Sept. 3-Oct. 11, 2010. Holidays such as Veteran’s Day Nov. 11, 2010 and Thanksgiving Nov. 25, 2010 Spring time from April 1-May 1, 2011 with Good Friday April 22, 2011 & Easter April 24, 2011. Intermediate & Experienced Anglers tend to want less people & aggravation. We recommend: All weekdays period and to stay away from the weekends and holidays! Anytime of year is fine because these anglers are happy with whatever they catch just as long as they’re not being encroached on while fishing.
